Delete your account
Delete your Distill Log account
You can delete your account yourself at any time, and it happens straight away. It can’t be undone.
In the app
Open Settings › Account › Delete account. You’re offered Download my data first, then asked for your password.
On the website
Sign in and delete your account. You’re asked for your password.
What’s deleted
- Your account: name, email, password, profile photo and bio.
- Your synced logbook: runs, readings, recipes, notes, records and photos.
- AI keys stored with your account, and its usage history.
- Your shared recipes, discussions and replies, with the replies other members wrote in your discussions, and your ratings and reports.
Copies other members saved of your shared recipes are theirs, and stay. Deleting from the app also removes your logbook from that phone; on any other phone, uninstall the app to remove its copy. Server backups that still hold your data are replaced over time.
